All game day AFL registrations are run through PlayHQ including players, coaches and coaching support volunteers such as trainers and runners. If you are thinking of registering as a player, volunteer or coach please see the information below.
Players need to be within the specified age range for each grade of football however there is some scope for the club to request permission for players to play up or down depending on circumstances.
Volunteers need to have a working with children card, if you don't have a WWC card our organisation is able to sponsor you for a card at no charge. Coaches need to complete additional online based training run by AFL Queensland.

Highfields Lions AFC / AFL Darling Downs
Our main focus as a club is the Highfields Lions participation in AFL Darling Downs (AFLDD), the competitions are Footy4Fun (U8, U10) and Youth Football (U12, U14).

Highfields Lions AFC / AFL Auskick
The Highfields Lions also participate in the Auskick competition annually in the pre-season which is a short series of training sessions designed for kids between the ages of 6 and 12 to get some exposure to AFL.
